Black Women Matter, All Women Matter II

While driving to a meeting this past week, a friend of mine shared from a book she was reading. The author was describing an ancient war on women. Steeped in infanticide, and waged during the Roman Empire, the war allowed for girls to be discarded like yesterday’s trash. Fathers were allowed to murder or abandon their daughters for any reason, just hours after her birth.  Girls were viewed as burdens that brought no value to the family. One husband wrote to his wife: “If you are delivered of a child (before I come home), if it is a boy keep it, if a girl discard it.”  

That ancient war on women is not so ancient when viewed through the population control lenses of Planned Parenthood and their eugenicist cohorts in the abortion industry. In fact, many of Planned Parenthood’s population control  benefactors fund them to treat women, especially Black women, with the same disdain that ancient Romans treated women and girls. Except this time they have made it seem Black women are choosing to participate in their own maiming or death.

Increasingly and with calculated efficiency the pro-abortion elitists have woven a tapestry of deception that has women believing the risk to their fertility is a small price to pay for the right to “not be pregnant”( http://bit.ly/UBVA3F). Abortionists openly diminish the more than 60,000 injuries each year that require a woman be hospitalized and in some instances result in her death. They have convinced women that allowing a substandard abortionist to abort their baby is a matter of access to reproductive health care (http://nyr.kr/1qV5gVQ)  that is to be fought for. In their ethnic cleansing enthusiasm, the industry and those that fund it have fought to keep the substandard abortionist in business with no restrictions to their “practice” no matter how many women they injure, maim and maul.  What is both amazing and frightening is that they have no fear of openly telling America their purpose and agenda for getting rid of “the populations we don’t want too many of”( http://nyti.ms/1AQLf4U).  They openly declare their intention to continue multi-year campaigns to reach into communities of color (http://bit.ly/1iwUJqw) despite statistics that reveal a genocidal impact in the Black community especially.  

In their exuberance to redefine abortion as health care, a series of articles celebrating abortion have cast children as problems, burdens,and/or  inconveniences to the mother who should not have to be pregnant if she does not want to be. One such article went well beyond the bounds of human decency, ridiculing the fact that abortionists are increasingly injuring and yes, killing women in their abortion centers across the country. The so called ministry of this particular abortionist coldly ignores the humanity of the child and health of the mother as he convincingly minimizes the risk to the woman and her ability to have children in the future. He does this while proclaiming himself a Christian that was  raised in the Church. Yes, that is the abortionists’ latest scheme; claim that Jesus would condone aborting babies because it is helping the woman “in her time of need”. They even give women letters signed by various clergy declaring abortion is not morally wrong (http://bit.ly/1oarKiH).

The shift in the language away from "pro-choice " toward “abortion care” has eliminated the idea that abortion is not taking a life. In fact, they now acknowledge that it is a child that the woman should not be required to have unless she wants to (http://bit.ly/1cQLnbL). They even go so far as to state that abortion saves lives (http://huff.to/1nODtBr), completely ignoring the many women that have died at the hands of substandard abortionists. These purveyors of death demonically and cavalierly take the lives of their patients without penalty or repercussions. Patients like Tonya Reaves, who was left bleeding after a uterus perforation for more than five hours in a Planned Parenthood facility. When they finally took her to a trauma center, it was too late to save her life. Patients like Edrica Goode who died after Planned Parenthood ignored her medical condition (she had an infection) and performed a second trimester abortion catapulting her into toxic shock syndrome. She did not survive the abortion. Or patients like Sherika Mayo whose sickle cell anemia was ignored and a second trimester abortion performed by one of Planned Parenthood’s preferred providers that left her hemorrhaging at a time she should have been given a blood transfusion. She did not survive the abortionists' health care.

After forty-one and a half years of abortion, they no longer see a need to disguise their appetite for allowing pedophiles to run rampant among our children. Tamiia Russell is one example: the fifteen year old was impregnated by a 24 year old drug dealer. Taken by the sister of the drug dealer to Alberto Hodari, a late term abortionist in Detroit,  Hodari performed the $2,000 abortion leaving Tamiia bleeding so heavily she soaked a mattress according to her mother. She did not survive. Planned Parenthood sent a thirteen year old home with her stepfather after aborting his child. He had been raping her since she was six years old and was only stopped when the mother learned of the abuse. Another Planned Parenthood was sued for failing to report the sexual abuse of a sixteen year old whose father had been raping her since she was thirteen. Because of their failure to report in violation of Ohio law, the father continued raping her for another year and a half. Protecting rapists such as these, the abortion lobby fights to make sure states include rape and incest exceptions in laws designed to protect women. Instead they choose to protect the rapist.

They have no problem violating state laws. Steven Brigham is just one of many abortionists that flaunt their violations as badges of honor. He claims he was acting in good faith when he transported patients from NJ to Maryland in order to complete the late term abortions he started but were illegal in New Jersey (http://bit.ly/1p7fHmt). Diane Derzis, who is not a doctor but is celebrated as the “abortion queen” is another purveyor of abortion whose facilities fall far beneath reasonable medical standards. Her facility in Birmingham, Alabama was forcibly closed down after a center reviewer found 76 pages of health code violations and three women were seriously injured. She still operates squalid centers in other states - Mississippi and Georgia included. When Texas raised its standards to ambulatory surgical center levels, one abortionist that refused to or could not meet those standards continued performing more than two hundred fifty abortions before he was forcibly closed down (http://bit.ly/WYVN2H). These abortionists think themselves above the law.

In the 1960’s there was a sitcom called Lost in Space. Every time a person or thing was near to harming his human, the robot, with arms flailing and antennae circling, called out “Danger, Danger Will Robinson”! Just call me robot. Danger, danger Black women, all women! Abortion is not safe!!!! The ancient war against women has been resurrected and is now destroying not only the girl babies, but more times than are counted the mother’s fertility as well. And, the increasing roll call of vibrant young women who do not make it out of America’s abortion dens alive is an attestation to the fact that the coat hanger has simply put on a suit and going in the front door to destroy women and their hopes and dreams.

Black Women Matter, All Women Matter

Growing up in Southfield Village in Stamford, CT afforded me a great childhood. Really.  I had a great childhood even though I had fights with my neighbors and friends all the time. When it was time to fight or if we wanted to pick one, we drew a line on the ground and dared our opponent to step across it. Sometimes we put a stick on our shoulder and dared our combatant to knock it off.  If they had the cojones to do so, the fight was on and one or the other of us would get a beat down. It has been a long time since I encountered someone bold enough to cross the line or knock the stick off. In recent times, however, Planned Parenthood has done both. 

They first enlisted the aid of black leaders starting with the likes of W.E.B. DuBois, back in the early 1900’s all the way up to today’s cadre of advocates that include Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Nia Long, Star Jones, and Gabrielle Union. They have sought out the most trusted voices for the voiceless - the Black media and fed them talking points cloaked in the rhetoric of civil and women’s rights. Using the funds provided by many of those that fueled and supported Hitler’s Nazi regime, they have enlisted politicians, entertainers, sports figures and others to sell their services to communities of color. They have billed themselves as champions of Black and Latina women, fighters for the cause of their reproductive rights! They have even recruited Pastor’s to tell the 37% of Black women who say they are Believers, that it is morally alright to abort their child.

You've heard their slogans and talking points – trust Black women to self-determine their reproductive needs; there are disparities in health care and Black women are victims of those disparities; America, they say, has “a premature birth crisis” that “can be directly linked to our failure to provide adequate contraception and abortion care. They even go so far as to declare abortion helps with maternal mortality! (http://huff.to/1nODtBr) They proudly boast of having launched a multi-year campaign to reverse their ineffective outreach to communities of color ((http://bit.ly/1iwUJqw). Yes, Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry have crossed the line and knocked off the stick.

Taking off the cloak of secrecy that kept many of us blinded to their mission, they have tapped into major Black media outlets pushing their eugenics agenda. BET, Ebony, Essence, Madam Noir, and The Root, are just a few of the outlets that have published pro-Planned Parenthood and pro-abortion articles, commercials and opinion editorials. In February, Black History Month 2014, Planned Parenthood chose ninety-eight Blacks to honor, one for each year of their existence. Many of those honored could be considered among the movers and shakers in the Black community, influencers able to convince others to follow their lead. And like the Pied Piper, these influencers are persuading Black women to walk into the dens of abortion that are rendering them infertile, diseased or worse taking them off the cliff of death.

What makes this particularly disheartening is that these influencers know Planned Parenthood’s eugenic history. They know that abortion and birth control are counted the greatest advances in the eugenic toolbox as Frederick Osborne, past president of the American Eugenics Society boasted in 1973. They know that Roe v. Wade is the case that allowed the elitists to deal with “the populations we don’t want too many of”” as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg revealed in her 2009 New York Times Magazine interview. How do I know they know? Because they tell us so in the many articles they publish. For example the Root’s Keli Goff and Madam Noir Ann Brown's recent articles about Black women saving a struggling Planned Parenthood both call Planned Parenthood's’ early history of racism “complicated”.  They both dismiss the fact that Planned Parenthood’s founder hung out with Nazi’s and others that believed in ethnic cleansing.

Despite mounting evidence that abortion and the centers where the surgery takes place are unsafe for women, and are actually dangerous, these promoters of abortion join with Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and the National Abortion Federation among others, calling for less regulation. The industry has acknowledged that it is not attracting reputable doctors (see Eyal Press' article in New Yorker Magazine, A Botched Operation), and substandard abortionists are filling the void. Yet, none of these honorees are fighting for the babies or the many women being injured every year. The Guttmacher Institute reports five percent of the 1.2 million abortions each year (about 60,000 a year) result in an injury that require hospitalization. Few of them reveal the truth about abortion in America – that there is a growing trail of women that can no longer have children having been rendered infertile by one of these substandard practitioners. They do not report on the many women that have bacterial and other infections from the filthy conditions found in many of these centers. They do not discuss the practitioners that sedate the women and rape them, nor do they discuss those whose centers do not have the needed medical equipment to resuscitate a patient if necessary.

Instead the culture is bombarded with rhetoric designed to lure women into the arms of those bent on destroying the life within them. And if the woman happens to die, well, who cares? She does not matter.

A line has been drawn in the sand. A stick has been placed on our collective shoulders. On which side will you fight? As for me and my house, we will do what our ancestors have done since the founding of this nation. We will fight for our lives because Black women matter, all women matter.

Black Women Matter, Latina Women Matter, All Women Matter

Planned Parenthood and other abortionists fight, tooth and nail, against raising the medical standards of abortion centers to ambulatory surgical center levels. They push back against those who would try and ensure that any woman walking in an abortion center will not face Gosnellian conditions of filth and disease. One would think PPH and other abortion providers would want to join in that effort since they are billed as the leaders in the fight for women’s rights. They continually tell women, especially women of color, that they are fighting for their right to control their bodies, their right to self-determine. They do this while supporting the work of abortionists that do not meet sound medical standards. These so called doctors cannot get medical privileges at local hospitals mostly because their performance is so bad.

In February of this year, Eyal Press whose father was an abortionist broke rank with the propaganda machine in favor of being truthful about abortion and its impact on communities of color in his feature story, A Botched Operation, published in The New Yorker. He exposed the substandard medical care provided by Steven Brigham an abortionist with centers currently in Virginia and New Jersey. Understanding that many abortionists see it as “as a business, not a social mission, he reported that “as reputable doctors, hospitals, and medical schools increasingly distance themselves from abortions, it became more likely that substandard providers would fill the void”. And they have. All across the country one can hear horror stories about that substandard care including unlicensed personnel performing parts of the medical procedure such as giving anesthesia, instruments not properly sterilized in between use and unsanitary rooms. He confirmed horror stories of “doctors rushing through the procedure while women were in agony, screaming and writhing.” A simple google search will reveal doctor after doctor like Brigham – doctors that have perforated uteri, raped patients, left parts of the baby inside the woman, and some go so far as to kill infants born alive. Many of these same abortionists cover up the crimes of sexual predators that statutorily rape children and then force the child to abort their baby.

In recent months, there have been numerous articles about abortion. Many of them planted by Planned Parenthood and designed to lure Black and Latina women into their abortion centers. In December, 2013, The Root, a website for “news, opinion and culture” for African Americans, ran Kelli Goff’s article where she and other black actresses sang the praises of Planned Parenthood declaring black women were saving the organization (http://bit.ly/1bI5VQJ). One of them went so far as to declare Planned Parenthood “the first line of defense for most lower-income women in America”. A week later Madam Noir, a “sophisticatedly witty and opinionated lifestyle publication for the black woman “ asked whether black women can save a “struggling” Planned Parenthood (http://bit.ly/1iwUJqw) suggesting the organization has “image issues and ineffective outreach in communities of color”. At the same time they acknowledge that Planned Parenthood has launched a “multi-year campaign to boost its outreach to communities of color”. Not to be outdone, Essence joined the fray, publishing a thousand word article suggesting Black women stand to lose when restrictions are applied to abortionists (http://bit.ly/PVtez4). They had no problem telling the reader they are waging a targeted campaign against Black women and other minorities.

At the same time Planned Parenthood is continuing their multi-year campaign to reach communities of color, they put their propaganda machine to work in the broader community. Their allies have begun publishing articles to promote abortion as health care, urging the populace to call it abortion care (http://huff.to/1nODtBr) deeming it vital to addressing the premature birth crisis while preventing infant mortality and maternal death. Yes, the President of the National Organization of Women and Huffington Post want us to believe killing babies by abortion helps babies not die. Yeah, I don't understand it either. Each of these media outlets abandoned the first rule of journalism in favor of pushing the population control agenda, especially in communities of color. They each failed to tell the truth.

And, many of the mothers die at the hands of substandard abortionists. LaKisha Wilson, a 22 year old died of a heart attack due to complications of her abortion. The abortionist cared so little for her she didn’t even cover her body as they removed her from the abortion center. Tonya Reaves, another young 22 year old died a tortuous death at the hands of a Planned Parenthood abortionist. She let Tonya bleed for hours as she continued scraping her uterus three different times trying to remove the baby and failing each time. Fifteen year old Tamia Russell who was raped by a twenty four year old was six months pregnant when his sister took her for the abortion and lied saying she was giving parental consent. Tamia died that day. Semika Shaw was writhing in pain before she died while infection ran throughout her body. These are only a few of those that were fatally impacted and the list of women and girls who die or are rendered infertile grows every day.

It’s almost as if these women did not matter, as if they had no importance or significance. The abortion providers can tell us to our faces they are operating as agents of the population control agenda while they spend billions to convince us that killing our children is a right ordained by God and sanctioned by the U.S. Constitution. That’s right. They have a cadre of clergy that have written a letter to abortion determined women telling them their decision is not morally wrong. They have a huge group of donors that are happy to fund their multi-year campaign to reach into communities of color. The Ford Foundation, Gates Foundation, Susan Thompson Buffet Foundation, Chase, IBM, Random House, Barclays, and a host of others are pouring dollars into the Planned Parenthood coffers to target women of color. Just like many of them poured into the Nazi campaigns – funding their agenda for ethnic cleansing.

While Planned Parenthood and others lament that their strategy to reach minority women is ineffective, we know that is not so. Just look at the genocidal impact abortion is having on “those we don’t want too many of” as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg revealed in her 2009 New York Times Magazine interview. The statistics in New York have reached genocidal levels in the Black community. So have the numbers in Richmond, Detroit, Atlanta and numerous other cities around the country. Abortion is the tool being used to achieve Planned Parenthood’s goal of an optimum population - all while treating women like they don’t matter. Black women matter. Latina women matter. Caucasian women matter. Asian women matter. Out of our loins have come Presidents, Senators, Congressmen, Governors, Mayors, and other political leaders. Our loins have produced doctors, inventors, educators, military leaders, and business men. We have birthed nations and the men and women to lead them. We matter, and it is time to make sure those bent on destroying the human race recognize it is so.

Another Daughter Has Died

It is hard to write today. Another of our daughter’s died this past Friday in a Cleveland, Ohio abortion chamber. I don’t know her name. I know she lived in Cleveland, Ohio where forty percent of the abortions are on black women according to the Centers for Disease Control. Our daughter joined a growing list of those maimed, molested or murdered inside one of America’s abortion dens. I don’t know how many died such a death since abortion began in 1973, because those numbers are deliberately being obscured by abortion supporters. While I do not know the name of the most recent victim to succumb at the hand of an abortionist, I do know several.

The most heinous, callous victim of abortion was Tonya Reaves of Chicago, Illinois. In 2012, Planned Parenthood left her dying in their abortion center for more than five hours before they sought the emergency care that would have saved her life if they had just taken her earlier the 1.7 miles to the nearest trauma hospital. I know the name of Semika Shaw, who at 22 died at the hands of America’s most demonic serial killer, Kermit Gosnell in 2000. I know the name of Sherika Mayo who the state of Georgia in 2009 said should have been given a blood transfusion rather than an abortion, because her blood count was so low due to sickle cell anemia. I know the name of Laura Hope Smith who was overmedicated in 2007 by a doctor the attorney general said acted in a “willful, wanton and reckless manner”. I know the name of Jennifer Morbelli a kindergarten teacher killed in 2013 due to a “Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation” “due to or as a consequence of Amniotic Fluid Embolism following Medical Termination of Pregnancy”. I know the name of Christin Gilbert who in 2005 died from systemic organ failure because of the lack of medical care given her. All the blood vessels in her reproductive organs were clotted.

I don’t believe one of these women woke up on the morning of their death saying” let me go die today”. I believe each of these women or their families believed the lie that abortion is safe and effective, as so many Planned Parenthoods and NARAL state. I don’t think any of the women that have been molested, or were maimed ‘chose’ to be. Every time you see someone with a hanger saying we will not go back:

Recognize that this graph does not track every single injury or offense, most are unknown or not recorded. It simply gives warning that in recent years more and more women are being subjected to harm under the hands of those that do not care enough about women to exercise a reasonable standard of medical care. Recognize that abortionists care nothing for women or their health. Most of all recognize that abortion is not health care at all, but truly is a source of injury for numerous women who are suffering silently all around this country.

Finally take a stand. You can begin by standing with Margo Davison (cousin of Semika Shaw)who is being bullied by Planned Parenthood for voting to raise medical standards in Pennsylvania abortion chambers so no other woman will "be butchered, as she was, with her uterus perforated and her death of sepsis and infection permeating in her body till she writhed in pain on the floor of her home to her ultimate death". If you know registered voters in PA 164th district, call them,email them, text them, and ask them to support Margo in her bid for re-election. Show Planned Parenthood we no longer accept their lies that they care about women or their health. Show Planned Parenthood they can no longer brazenly flaunt their disregard for life in our faces without consequence. Defeat their candidate.

Black Women Destroying Black Women while Saving Planned Parenthood

We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans--born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage--and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.

In 1961, many Blacks embraced the idea of passing the torch to a new generation – an idea that embodies responsibility, discernment and courage. President Kennedy defined this birthright as one built on strength, discipline and sometimes bitterness. What appropriate verbs for articulating the black experience in America – a legacy that should not be squandered or easily vanquished by the political expressions of the day. Yet, Star Jones, Nia Long and all the black women Keli Goff of the Root describe as “…Saving Planned Parenthood” have done exactly that – they have spit on the legacy of generations of black women instead favoring the politics of abortion over the lives of millions of blacks that have died in Planned Parenthood’s abortion centers.

Strong words, yes. Betrayal, yes. The cost of the betrayal: the lives and reproductive health of women who have believed and will believe Planned Parenthoods’ dogma because those spouting it are respected actresses, journalists, political leaders or entertainers. I cannot believe that any of these women looked past the rhetoric Planned Parenthood, has fed them to determine the truth of why Planned Parenthood centers are closing. It is not because they are suppliers of health care to women. The reality is that they are contributors to some of the very health issues many women and black children are facing such as breast cancer, bacterial and sexually transmitted infection, extreme premature births and infertility among other injuries including death.

To this day I remain haunted by the death of Tonya Reaves, a vibrant young twenty four year old that Planned Parenthood in Chicago left bleeding for more than five hours after a failed abortion during her fifth month of pregnancy. She did not have to die. But Planned Parenthood has so little regard for life that they left her there for more than five hours, unable to help herself as her life’s blood drained from her body. I am incensed by their rhetoric that this is a matter of access to contraception! No this is a population control agency continuing its objective to control the population we “don’t want too many of”, as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg revealed in her 2009 New York Times interview. Tonya was one such victim of Planned Parenthood’s population control agenda.

The Root, carelessly continues the lie that black women lack “access to contraception” calling it “one of the key predictors for escaping poverty”. Since 79% of Planned Parenthood’s surgical facilities are located within a two mile walking radius of a Black or Latino neighborhood (see this study: http://www.protectingblacklife.org/pp_targets/index.html)one would think there would be far less Black and Latino women in poverty in these very same neighborhoods. After all, they tell us “When it comes to women’s health, they are the first line of defense for most lower-income women in America". This misinformation turns a blind eye to the fact that Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the nation. Instead they disguise this truth in the propaganda that "abortion accounts for less than 10% of their services".

The Planned Parenthood centers that are closing, are closing because the so call doctors in those facilities render such poor care, they cannot get admitting privileges to nearby hospitals and/or because they refuse to raise the facilities to ambulatory surgical center standards. Like Philadelphia’s Kermit Gosnell, they subject women to a myriad of horrors in the name of unfettered abortion rights. Most of these butchers are not held accountable for the poor services they render. In fact in most states while they may occasionally face disciplinary action, they are allowed time and again to go back to business as usual of butchering women. They want Black women to continue seeking this Gosnellian treatment because they refuse to raise their abortion centers to reasonable standards of medical care.

Not all Black women have drunk Planned Parenthoods' poison. Some of us get it. We stand as the dam, blocking the "undoing of human rights" of Black women and black babies and will continue to do so until the scourge is removed from our community.

A Plea for the Enslaved

More people live in slavery today than at any other time in history. In spite of what many people believe, America is not immune to the horrors of human slavery. Slavery continues to thrive within the borders of the United States of America because regular citizens like you and I have not forced the issue.

In recent months, the devastating issue of human trafficking within our borders received a degree of media attention because of the arrest of over 150 criminals and the liberation of over 100 women who had been enslaved. In fact, the vast majority of those enslaved are not women at all. They are young girls who have not even reached their teen years. They are typically poor, immigrants who speak little if any English. They are lured away by claims of prosperity for themselves and their families. Instead they are met with the harsh life of slave labor and sexual servitude.

Such tales seem to be the horrors of distant third world countries. The reality is that human trafficking is happening every day right in front of us. The state of Florida where I live is the third in chosen destination for human trafficking in the U.S. The probability is high that you have actually seen a person living in bondage without even realizing it. Their captors control them by threatening their lives and the lives of their family.

Congress has created committees, police departments have allocated budgets and Hollywood occasionally becomes enamored with the subject and gut-wrenching dramas are produced. However the prolonged spotlight necessary to end human trafficking must come from the pews and pulpit. If the church does not become fully engaged on this issue, it will only get worse.

The lives that are at stake are not only the lives of the women forced into sexual servitude, but also the lives of the children that they conceive. When the enslaved women make it to freedom, they tell shocking stories of being forced to have abortion after abortion after abortion. Their multiple interactions and encounters with organizations like Planned Parenthood should raise calls for concern by abortionists and their staff. Unfortunately Planned Parenthood staff rarely take the opportunity to help these women and free them from their captors.

The Body of Christ must stand in the gap for these women. We must not allow them to languish alone. Most community tasks forces on human trafficking do not encourage people to take matters into their own hands. This is wise counsel. Human trafficking is a $9 billion dollar industry backed by true life dangerous and evil criminals. However, you can make a huge impact by learning, looking and reporting. Learn what modern day slavery really is. Look for signs of it in your everyday encounters. And report it to the proper authorities.

Hail Satan or Amazing Grace, What is your Choice?

Activists on both sides of abortion have convened in Texas, as that state seeks to regulate an industry that has long operated outside traditional standards of medical care. Those that advocate for abortion are cheering Wendy Davis, a Senator that filibustered a bill that would have banned abortions after five months, and would require abortion centers to meet the reasonable standards of medical care typically applied to surgical centers. Ms. Davis and her supporters successfully blocked the passage of the bill last week, and this week both sides again convened in Austin after Governor Perry called a special session to vote the bill up or down.

Yesterday, pro-abortion advocates chanted "Hail Satan" in an attempt to drown out the voices of pro-life advocates, singing Amazing Grace. While these rabid advocates of “choice” expose who it is their efforts are dedicated to, I think it is critical to remind women throughout this country that back alley abortion is alive and well in America.

No matter what stage of pregnancy the woman is in, her physical and mental health and sometimes her life are at risk. Here are a few examples:

Its March, 2000 and 22 year old Semika Shaw entered the Philadelphia House of Horrors run by Kermit Gosnell. She was five months pregnant. He perforated her uterus, and then sent her home without additional medical care. Two days later she died from sepsis – a whole body reaction to the infection that resulted from the perforation.

Its 2001 and Carol Howard visited the Orlando Women’s Center for an abortion at a little more than five months. Staff of abortionist Pendergraft gave her RU486 and Cytotec , inducing a long, hard and painful labor. She delivered a live baby at a local hospital, who has severe disabilities as a result of the drugs given to Carol.

It’s May 2003, and Michelle Armesto Berge, is coerced by her parents, even though she is 18, to abort her six and a half month pregnancy, She wanted the child and planned to marry the baby’s father. Her parents won the fight. While in George Tiller’s Women’s Health Care Services center, she refused to deliver her baby into a toilet bowl, as ordered by clinic workers. Instead she delivered her dead baby on the floor next to the commode, a sight that haunts her to this day.

Its January 7, 2004 and 15 year old Tamia Russell enters the WomanCare of Southfield, Michigan abortion center for a six month termination of pregnancy. Her 24-year-old boyfriend’s sister had driven her to the facility to obtain an abortion by Alberto Hodari, without parental consent or Judicial bypass as required by state law. She returned to the facility the next day complaining of bleeding heavily and before she could get to a hospital she died of "Uterine infarction with sepsis, due to status post second trimester abortion" according to the medical examiner.

Christin A. Gilbert, who was 19, died after a 7 month abortion on January 13, 2005. Christin had been raped sometime in 2004. Her rapist was never found. After the botched abortion, Gilbert was rushed into the Wesley Medical Center ER in Wichita, Kansas. Gilbert suffered complications during her abortion that were not fully diagnosed, an autopsy concluded.

Its November 16, 2006 and Ms. S. Cummings learns she is pregnant. She enters Western Women’s Center in Michigan for an abortion. Four days later pathology reports reveal Ms. Cummings may have an ectopic pregnancy. Ms. Cummings is called back to the clinic four times before she is told to go to the emergency room where it is discovered she indeed had an ectopic pregnancy. Ms. Cummings lost her right fallopian tube as a result of the negligence of Dr. Jacob Kalo.

Its August 17, 2007 and “Jane Roe”, entered the Lincoln(NB)Planned Parenthood office for an abortion in the 8th week of pregnancy. Reports are that “during the suction abortion, she felt a sharp, excruciating pain and asked abortionist Severson to stop. Three employees then held the woman down while he completed the suction process in spite of her pleas” and she later lost 80% of her bodies’ blood as well as suffered a complete hysterectomy.

Its September 7,2008 and a thirteen year old who had been raped, entered Planned Parenthood on 16th Street in Washington, D. C. for an abortion. When she leaves a few hours later, she is sterile. They perforated her uterus, tore her bowel and ripped her cervix among other injuries.

It’s November 2009 and Karnamaya Mongar, a recent immigrant from Bhutan sought an abortion at 5 months pregnant in Gosnell’s House of Horrors in Pennsylvania. Over sedated by unlicensed staff, she died from an overdose of Demerol.

It’s August 9, 2010, and D.B. went to American Women’s Center in Voorhees, New Jersey, for a pregnancy termination at 5 months. New Jersey law states that abortions can only be done up to 3 1/2 months at clinics not licensed as ambulatory surgical centers or hospitals. The abortion was begun in NJ, then the following morning D. B. was taken to another location in Elkton, MD for its completion. The abortionist, Nicola Riley had perforated D.B.’s uterus, shoved the remains of baby into her abdominal cavity, and pulled out part of her bowel through her vagina.

It’s July 20, 2012.Tonya Reaves, 24 years old, enters a Planned Parenthood at 18 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. After perforating her uterus and leaving parts of the baby inside her, Planned Parenthood wantonly disregard her life - they let her bleed in their facility for more than five hours before sending her 1.7 miles down the way to emergency medical care. Tonya died from hemorrhage following a Dilation and Evacuation abortion.

Its February 7, 2013 and 29 year old Jennifer Morbelli trusted LeRoy Carhart to terminate her 8 month pregnancy because she had been told her daughter would suffer seizures if birthed. At the conclusion of Carhart’s medical care, Jennifer ‘s amniotic fluid in her womb spilled into her bloodstream, making it impossible for her blood to clot. Jennifer coded six times before dying. LeRoy Carhart was nowhere to be found as Jennifer’s family frantically tried to find him to help her.

Hail Satan indeed. He has drunk the blood of more than fifty five million innocents. He has taken the lives of future children as the coat hangers in suits and dresses the industry calls doctors, shred the insides of untold numbers of women, now never able to have children. His blood thirst frequently consumes the lives of women in untold numbers because no one tracks their deaths for fear the secret will get out: Abortion is legal yes, but is a procedure that is anything but safe. Hail Satan indeed.
