This week, Planned Parenthood
hired a PR (propaganda response) team to help them with their messaging after
four videos revealed their ghoulish practice of selling aborted baby body
parts. Despite acknowledging they operate programs to collect the tissue of aborted
babies they deny that the $50, $75 or $100 they receive for each specimen is selling that specimen. The four videos that reveal four physicians at the highest level
of their organization haggling with a potential buyer on how much they will be paid
per specimen is not selling they say and they deny they have broken the law. Despite the fact they have no expenses related to the harvesting of the baby body parts (shipping and packaging are paid by those buying them) they claim all fees collected are for their expenses.
Now Planned Parenthood has launched a media campaign designed to carry on the façade they are the sole or number one supplier of reproductive health services (birth control, cancer screening, STD testing and treatment and abortion) in America. Hoping their supporters can apply enough pressure to allow them to maintain their federal funding they singled out the Center for Medical Progress as their target in hopes of shifting the nation’s attention away from their repeated breaking of federal and state laws prohibiting the sale of human body parts.

In a blatant attempt to keep a hold
over the two groups they have been targeting for their abortion services (Blacks and Latinas), they have begun blanketing the media with Black voices and faces, hoping to incite fear that these groups will be denied a right if the defunding effort is successful. Planned Parenthood hopes they can continue their skin color targeting by portraying themselves as friends, rather than the population control eugenicists they were founded to be. Accounts are coming in from all
over the country about the pamphleting,
commercials, and videos being released in Black and Latino neighborhoods and
media. Employing the long termed
strategy of the Negro Project, they have begun to trot out folk like Juan
Williams a Fox News Contributor, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, and others, to
recite their worn out mantra that they are primarily in the business of “birth
control, cancer screening, STD testing and treatment”. Their language is fixed
and each recipient of Planned Parenthood's largess recites tales of heavy editing of the videos in order to portray Planned Parenthood
negatively.
Reports are that some in the
United States House and Senate are waffling about defunding Planned Parenthood,
citing a fear women will be denied vital health services. These legislators
ignore the common knowledge that besides the 700 Planned Parenthood family
planning centers, there are 3500 other
centers that provide the exact services (birth control, cancer screening, STD
testing and treatment) Planned Parenthood claims women will be denied and they
too are funded by the Office of
Population Affairs.
The only "service" these centers
do not provide is abortion because “Section 1008 of the Act, as amended,
stipulates that "None of the funds appropriated under this title shall be
used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning” which begs the question
as to why they are getting Title X money
at all since that too is breaking
federal law. Although funded by the Office of Population Affairs, the other 3500 family planning centers have
not employed Planned Parenthood tactics to draw “those we don’t want too many
of” as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said in 2009. Instead they
seem to follow the laws related to voluntary family planning.
It
is not a hard or complex thing to defund Planned Parenthood. They have broken,
repeatedly, the laws of the United
States and state civil and criminal laws. They are injuring women and providing
substandard medical care repeatedly in one or more of their abortion centers
that dot Black and Latina neighborhoods (http://bit.ly/1SudsK4).
With the revelation that they are sellers
of baby body parts, the defunding should be easy. The question that must be
answered at this juncture is whether we have the political will to take action.
If you do, you should let your elected officials know. It is time to end the
reign of taxpayer funded sales of baby body parts. It is time to end the terror
women have faced at the hands of Planned Parenthood’s substandard surgeons who
only exercise care when they can profit from the sale of the ultrasound guided baby parts they pull from the bodies of women.
